Auto diagnostic tools – rapid fault diagnosis for cars & trucks

The car diagnostic tester is connected using the OBD port or the newer OBD2 port usually found in the vehicle. OBD enables connection to the vehicle's electronic control unit via the CAN bus. OBD stands for On-Board Diagnostics. Using a suitable OBD connector, you can access the system memory of the engine control unit with your auto diagnostic tool. The information displayed on the device is either stored information or real-time information. For example, intermittent faults (i.e. faults that are not permanent) are stored. By analysing this data and the fault codes retrieved, it is usually possible to quickly identify the cause of the fault. You can also delete various faults that are displayed.
Our devices receive version updates for their internal software. This ensures that the devices can also be used on current passenger car models. Please note that all our auto diagnostic tools operate at 12 volts. It is therefore not possible to read data from a 24V electrical system.
