Extraction pump
Our extraction pumps are suitable for a wide range of applications. These pumps are used for extracting, pumping, or transferring a wide range of liquids, such as oils, for example engine oil, or fuels such as diesel or petrol. Manual, electric, or pneumatic extraction pumps are available. Oil extractor pumps are useful, for example, for changing the oil in a car. If the vehicle is filled with the wrong fuel, they can be used as to extract fuel from the tank to prevent damage to the engine.
Finding the right fluid extractor pump for your needs
An extraction pump is a useful tool, and is absolutely essential in car repair workshops, while portable extraction pumps are used by breakdown services. Before purchasing these devices, it is important to consider the following questions:
- What will the pump mainly be used for?
- How often will it be needed?
- What volumes of fluid are expected?
- What kinds of liquid will the pump be used for (petrol, diesel, oil, water, etc.)?
- Will the pump be used for different types of liquid?
For occasional extraction, a manual hand pump is the most economical choice. Hand pumps can be used to extract oil or fuels, such as diesel and petrol, or water, as well as other liquids. However, hand pumps or siphon pumps are only suitable for small to medium volumes of fluid. They can also be used for extracting highly flammable substances. For regular use or when dealing with larger volumes of liquid, an electric or pneumatic extraction pump is recommended. Mobile electric or pneumatic fluid suction pumps and siphon pumps are far more effective and durable.
Manual petrol extraction pump
For jobs that only come up now and then, our manual extraction pumps are the best choice. These hand pumps can extract motor oil or fuels such as diesel and petrol, as well as other substances. However, they can be laborious when dealing with larger quantities, as hand pumps do not have a high flow rate. On the other hand, our manual extraction pumps are very easy to use. Thanks to their spark-free operation, these manual pumps can also be used with highly flammable liquids such as petrol. This means it is possible – and also permissible – to use them as pumps for siphoning petrol. They often have hoses that can fit through narrower openings. They are also well suited for use as a pump for oil changes or as an oil extractor pump for cars. ProLux hand pumps are affordable, compact and easy to transport.
Electric oil extractor pump
Our electric extraction pump delivers a significantly higher volume in litres whilst maintaining a compact design. Often used as a diesel extraction pump, it can also be used to pump out oils and other liquids. Of course, it can also be used as an (electric) petrol extraction pump or as a water extraction pump. To start it up, simply connect the 12V pump to a 12-volt car battery or another battery, and the fluid extractor pump is ready for use. With our hose kit as an accessory, you’ll be perfectly equipped for a wide range of vehicle maintenance tasks. The 12-volt pump provides a neat solution for oil changes when used as an electric oil extractor pump for motor vehicles. And of course, our fluid extractor pumps can also be used as water pumps. Diesel or similar fuels can also be transferred using an oil extraction pump. However, care must be taken when extracting highly flammable liquids, as the electric motor may generate sparks.
Petrol siphon pump
To remove petrol from a tank, manual or pneumatic pumps can and should be used. This is because, due to its low flash point, any sparks generated by the motor can cause petrol to ignite when electric extraction pumps are used. This risk can be avoided by using manual extraction pumps or siphon pumps, or pneumatically operated petrol pumps. Our pneumatic pump, in particular, features an impressively high flow rate during extraction. What’s more, the liquid tank has a capacity of 45 litres, and the entire pump weighs just 15 kg. It is often used in the event of misfuelling, as the collection tank allows the incorrect fuel to be temporarily stored.
Buy fuel extraction pumps from the ProLux online shop
Our extraction pumps and siphon pumps are available in a range of different models. Your intended use will determine which pump is best suited to your needs. Our manual oil extraction pump can extract more or less anything (oil, petrol, water, etc.). If large quantities need to be pumped out, the electric oil extractor pump with a high flow rate is the perfect choice for oil and many other liquids. If you need an extraction pump for petrol and similar flammable substances, our pneumatic extraction pump is the best choice for safety reasons. The thing that all our extraction pumps have in common is our renowned value for money! Of course, you can also buy all the corresponding accessories from us online.
