- Treat the lock mechanism with a little oil, e.g. WD-40
- Insert the turbo decoder correctly centred (orientation point or marking like on the test key)
- Always push all pins in the turbo decoder upwards
- Always apply some tension when attempting to open the lock
- Perform 10-20 opening attempts for each setting
