CTEK MXS 5.0

The MXS 5.0 is a fully automatic 8-stage charger with a selectable charging current between 0.8A and 5A for 12V batteries from 1.2 - 110 Ah and for trickle charging up to 160Ah. Equipped with the latest technology, the MXS 5.0 is the perfect choice for demanding charging requirements. The MXS 5.0 charger solves many more battery problems than conventional chargers: it has battery diagnostics, a special function for restoring deeply discharged batteries, a unique long-term charging function (pulse charge retention) and a mode for optimised charging on cold winter days.  With IP65 protection, the MXS 5.0 charger is protected against dust and splash water. It has been specially designed to protect vehicle electronics systems, which means that batteries do not have to be disconnected from the vehicle electrical system during charging.  The MXS 5.0 is protected against sparks, reverse polarity and short circuits. The intelligent MXS 5.0 can be used for cars and motorbikes. Thanks to the quick contact cable supplied, which can be attached to the battery terminals with M6 ring terminals as an alternative to the terminal clamps, the charger is ideal for use on batteries that are difficult to access.  The display of the MXS 5.0 allows the user to follow the entire charging process.
