HGV 3-pivot tow bar

The hot-dip galvanised 3-pivot tow bar was developed to tow unroadworthy HGVs using the towing lugs provided for this purpose. The requirement for this is that the damaged truck has the possibility of attaching two towing lugs at the front. The tow bar is designed for a towing load of 44 tonnes. Thanks to the telescopic support included in the scope of delivery, one person can mount the 3-pivot tow bar on the damaged vehicle without assistance. A turnbuckle, which acts as a spacer, is used to adjust the mounting angle of the tow bar. The tow bar can be folded for easy storage. The detachable towing lugs are optionally available as accessories for various HGVs.
